New free food Alert!!! Wendy's

So have you been to Wendy's lately?
They have been making some delightful changes. Now when you walk in you have the option to use the self ordering machine if you're paying with a debit/credit card. These changes may not be at every location yet. I live in Hampton VA.

Make sure you check the back of your receipt. It's no longer the same "take two dollars off" a premium sandwich incentive when you do the survey. This time you when you do the survey, you will be given a code to receive a free Dave's Single or Chicken Sandwich with the purchase of a premium sandwich. 

You know I had to go and enjoy this new incentive 😍😍. Of course I ordered my favorite sandwich which is the Asiago Spicy Chicken club and the Dave's Single for my free sandwich. Usually if I have a burger I go for the Jr Bacon Cheeseburger. Both sandwiches were delicious 🤗. As always I'm a satisfied customer.

On this day Facebook Food memory 6-14-14

Good Morning Food Lover's, 

Do you need a breakfast idea. Well here's what I had for breakfast years ago. Crispy Fried Bacon and Homefries. I made the bacon but the homefries were leftovers from an order the day before. There's a restaurant in Lockport NY called Laports. This restaurant is a local favorite and is constantly talked about amongst my lkpt friends on Facebook. I've only eaten there one time but the food was delicious and I received great service. Along with the homefries I also ordered some pancakes and sausage links. I remember the pancakes being a nice size and fluffy.

Don't have a restaurant around you and to lazy to cut up potatoes??? Go to your areas grocery store. There are many brands that have the potatoes already cut up and sometimes seasoned. Today I heading to work on an empty stomach 😂. I didn't have time to eat. Breakfast is definitely the most important meal of the day.....

Devour: Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese

I've passed these frozen food meals quite often. I might stop by and window shop but I wasn't brave enough to try one until today. I looked over all the meals and this one caught my eye big time after reading the description which is awesomely printed right on the front of the box.

"Pasta shells tossed with premium breaded white meat chicken in a creamy sauce topped with real blue cheese"

Someone in corporate should get a raise. This meal is genius. The picture on the box made me salivate like a hungry dog and I'm not afraid to admit it. I guess it helped that I was already so hungry. I purchased one box because you know....you can fully invest until you've tried a sample lol.

I followed the instructions to the tee. The smell from the finished product made me feel as if I was in a restaurant. That first bite WOW!!! the buffalo flavor with the blue cheese crumbles is an incredible flavor combo. I like that it was perfect amout of "heat" from the sauce. You can eat the meal without needing water after every bite. Now I honestly didn't expect the chicken to taste as good as it did. With some of the smaller pieces you can taste the breading more than the white meat but overall it gets a 9 out of 10. 
The chicken wasn't soggy. That speaks big volumes considering the fact that this is a microwavable product. I will definitely purchase more of these and try out the other meals. Oh yea now I truly get the gist of the commercials 😂😂.

Mcdonald's Buttermilk Crispy Chicken

Poor mommy.... She pulled a muscle in her back and on the side. She was in so much pain. We decided to pick up some food to eat before going back home after the pharmacy stop. My mom's a vegetarian so she wanted the veggie burgers from Burger King. In the same plaza there is Mcdonalds which is where my sister and I went to get food. I already had a double quarter pounder a little bit before my sister and mother arrived to meet me at the pharmacy.

I can admit I have a love/hate relationship with Mcdonald's. I stopped eating from the restaurant for a few years after all the video's were going around about the food how unhealthy and unreal the food is. Well that changed when I moved to virginia almost three years ago. One night my cousin went to get some food from there and she asked what I wanted. Yea I told her I didn't eat from there but ummm she said either I was going to eat some Mcd's that night or starve lol. Well ya'll know I love to eat and can't turn down a free meal. Them mcdoubles tasted so damn good..... and the rest is history.... Although I tried again to stop like a month ago.....

Since my mom wanted me to get something for dinner I decided to try the Buttermilk Crispy Chicken sandwich. I added the cheddar cheese and bacon. Usually when I eat here I just get the mcdouble's or double quarter pounder. I will never purchase this again. I need Mcdonald's and Burger King to just stop making chicken sandwiches all together. The flavor was on 10% out of 100% smh. The bun was soft and the bacon was done well. The fillet was on the dry side. I will stick with Chick-Fil-A and Wendy's for a real chicken sandwich that's juicy and full of flavor.

Free Mother's Day Meal: Hooters

I celebrated my first mother's day this year❤❤. My day was wonderful from the beginning to end. On Hooters Facebook page they posted about the Mother's Day menu. You would pick one item on the menu and eat free. Of course you know I was so super excited. I have eaten at Hooters in the past and enjoyed their boneless wings and shrimp.

Of course it was SUPER crowded and I was surprised to get a seat especially a whole booth. I had my son with me. I thought he would munch on something with me but he was actually asleep the whole time we were out lol. Oh yea you did have to purchase a beverage to get your free mother's day meal.  A burger was on the menu and since I've never had one there I decided to try it out. The burger came with fries. I did order some fried shrimp as an add on to my meal just in case I didn't like the burger. ANNNDDDD I'm glad I did. The burger was bland. I did the build your own burger with bacon and cheddar cheese. The burger was very bland. Where was the salt and pepper for seasoning??? I'm pretty sure they don't use angus beef. At least the cheese was melted and the bacon crispy to perfection. The curly fries were delicious and perfectly fried. My shrimp was just as good as I remembered. I get the mild butter sauce on mine. I love that despite sauce going on the shrimp they still remain crispy.

I will never get another burger from Hooters but they will still remain my favorite spot for fried shrimp and boneless wings. I'm surprised that more restaurants in the area didn't offer Mother's day specials. I'm already excited for next year.......

I wish I had that Bubba Burger and those Sahlen's hot dogs right now 😍😍. I see online that you can order a 3lb bag of Sahlen's to be shipped to you for about $85 😲. I'm not even going to lie I'm seriously considering it 😂. It's a Western New York product and I live in Virginia. I don't want to live in WNY ever again BUT I can't deny that the good food there is soooo good. Thank God Bubba burgers are readily available here in VA. I only eat the Angus beef box. I love how they don't shrink as much and you're able to retain the natural flavor of the meat.
