Zatarains

My first experience with the Zatarains brand started in college (2007-2008). I was friends with this South African girl. She always cooked this one particular meal that had all the dormmates salivating for more. It was cut up pieces of boneless chicken and this Zatarains yellow rice. She seasoned and sauteed the chicken to perfection. When I left college that yellow rice became a staple for me. The directions are simple and easy. Eventually I decided to try some other products as well. Make sure to check out my Instagram pictures below. The yellow rice will still remain my top favorite. FarmRich Breaded Mozzarella Sticks

Mozzarella sticks are definitely my #1 appetizer to order when going out to eat. Of course going out to eat these days seem to get more expensive. Fridays used to have these awesome tasting mozzarella sticks you could get from the freezer aisle. I had my mom hooked and they were in the shopping cart every time. Suddenly I stopped seeing them at any grocery store. Its like the product just vanished out of thin air.

I tried to cope by getting the other mozzarella sticks. Point blank they are disgusting (My Opinion)

So pretty much its been a few years since I've decided to purchase mozzarella sticks from the frozen food section. About two weeks ago I was craving some really bad. Those pregnancy cravings are hard to ignore. Due to limited income, I don't have the luxury of just going to eat out at this time. Walking through freezer aisle I decided to look at the selection of mozzarella sticks and picked up the FarmRich brand. I totally recommend!!! The first couple of times I fried them to perfection and they were delicious. I feel these mozzarella sticks are restaurant quality. I also tried them baked in the oven. They were just as good and crispy. Just follow the directions on the box. I also have my mother and youngest sister loving them as well. I purchase these on sale for $5.99 at my local Farm Fresh recently. I also purchase them from Food Lion for about six and some change. Very worth it Ladies and Gents.

TBT: Jimmy John's $1 Sub Day 2016

So where were you on April 21st between the hours of 11am-3pm? If you were like me, you were waiting in line for your $1 sandwich. I live in Hampton,VA. The Jimmy John's location I went to is located in the Peninsula Town Center. It's conveniently located across the street from the building I work in. There was already a full line when i got there but that did not deter me. I'm five months pregnant (previously written) and I've already had it in my mind about this sandwich since I heard about the event. For this day you were allowed to get any sub number 1-6 including the J.J BLT. Usually when i go to Jimmy Johns I order #16 the Club Lulu which is JJ's original turkey and bacon club sandwich. Since I'm a creature of habit I stuck to the #4 which is the Turkey Tom. I discovered that day that I'm totally ok with getting the #4 from now on. Although the bacon is good, its not necessary all the time. If you get the #16 or the #4 you will have to pay extra for cheese.  If have a craving for a cold sandwich or a wrap Jimmy Johns will have you in and out in a jiffy.
